Our world premiere for Solitude with Schubert was a special event that combined the film screening with a performance from George Xiaoyuan Fu and Lotte Betts-Dean. We were blown away by the audience response.

It was incredibly meaningful for us to premiere our film at Aldeburgh Music Festival, as both Aldeburgh and Britten Pears Arts hold a special place in the film. We are hugely grateful to the members of 'Walk On', a local support group from the St Elizabeth Hospice, who trusted us with their stories of loss and bereavement, and especially to Mandy Mitchell who particular spoke movingly of how Aldeburgh is a place she and her husband have always cherished, and how the sea has been a mirror for her grief.
We are also grateful to Britten Pears Arts for the opportunity to film George's recital at The Red House, Benjamin Britten's former home. Emotionally, it forms a pivotal point in the film, bringing together music, community, and a chance to reflect and feel.
Coincidentally, the premiere took place on Sunday 15 June, which was also Father's Day and gave an extra special resonance to the film.
